Condition: Excellent shape. This kind of Bijar kilim (roukorsi) is woven into two pieces and later sewn together since as one piece it would be too wide for a horizontal loom. The weaver has only a mental idea about the design. Once the kilim is completed, some design imperfections emerge which make the kilim very attractive. Another appealing feature about such kilims is that they usually have beautiful abrashes (shades of the same color). Nowadays, such Bijar kilims of high quality are very difficult to find.
